A returning customer, Tigers Events once again approached Rosehill to support them with a major refurbishment project at Hull MKM Stadium.

Tigers Events runs and manages all events at the MKM Stadium – the home of Hull City A.F.C. and Hull F.C. They work to provide the best event service possible, with options to hire their venue to celebrate any occasion, from birthdays to retirements or special anniversaries to large-scale sportsman’s dinners, awards nights and charity events.
The variety of function rooms at MKM Stadium mean that it can accommodate conferences, meetings, lunches and dinners for groups ranging in size from 10 to 450 people. Of course, accompanied by the stunning backdrop of the stadium itself.
It’s a venue that requires only the very best contract furniture.
So, when Dan, the general manager of Tigers Events, required some new items for a refurbishment project, he contacted the Rosehill team.
Refurbishing the Circle Lounge at the MKM Stadium
The Circle Lounge is one of the centrepiece rooms of the stadium – providing enough space to accommodate 200 guests. Naturally, it’s a popular choice for occasions of all kinds.
As such, Dan needed tables and chairs that would be durable, flexible to a variety of needs, and of the utmost quality.
But, there was a twist to his requirements… The refurbishment of the Circle Lounge was taking place in a window between games. As such, the Rosehill team had to work to a tight deadline.
So, what did we do?
We began by proposing several initial ideas. These included different finishes, styles, and durability – as well as considering options that could be easily moved and stored when necessary.
With all these points in mind, we worked with Dan to narrow down the selection to a tilt-top pedestal table. With the ability to flip the tops to an upright position, multiple tables could be easily nested together. This would allow facilities staff to move and store the tables with ease.
For seating, Dan and the Rosehill team settled on the Savannah design, with a tan faux leather seat in ribbed finish and a rattan back.
The furniture was arranged and delivered within the specified time frame (ahead of the Sunderland game!).
Dan was very kind in his feedback, stating that:
“The transformation has been remarkable and today has seen the relaunch for the Hull City vs Sunderland match. With over 170 guests in, the feedback has been fantastic and as always tweaks to make”.
A history of collaboration
As mentioned at the outset of this case study, this wasn’t the first time that Rosehill had helped MKM Stadium secure new furniture.
In 2023, we assisted the MKM Stadium team with the refurbishment of their executive boxes; an all-important revenue driver for the venue.
Each executive box required a large conference table that would be able to seat 10 people. Again, Rosehill proposed a carefully curated range of options, helping Dan and his team make an informed decision that would meet their needs.
He settled on a wooden design, which we supplied in an attractive black Ash finish, to complement the aesthetics of the stadium and the clubs that play there. The tables were perfectly paired with durable stacking chairs.
